River History Museum

Trustees

The John Wesley Powell River History Museum is a partnership between the City of Green River and the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, Inc., an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization doing business as the Friends of John Wesley Powell River History Museum. Guided by a Memorandum of Understanding with the City, the Friends bring people and resources together to help the Museum thrive.
Through advocacy, fundraising, and community support, the Friends strengthen the Museum’s exhibits, programs, and future. Our mission is to advance education, art, exploration, and storytelling while working to conserve and protect our community, our rivers, and our shared heritage, culture, and kinship.
