2026 River Runners Hall of Fame Festival

Come and celebrate with us as we honor three remarkable individuals and one intrepid group of kayakers being inducted into the River Runners Hall of Fame!  With exciting activities and lots of opportunities to socialize, the inductees’ presentations will occur on both Friday and Saturday. Evening induction ceremonies will take place at Green River High School both nights, and other activities will take place at the museum, Green River State Park, and Swasey’s Beach throughout the day on Saturday.

For 2026, the RR HOF selection committee has chosen individuals who are courageous and curious in spirit. As the management of this river system enters a new era, we need such traits more than ever, and we hope that this year’s inductees will inspire future generations of river runners to think big, go big, and live big. This year’s honorees are Mildred Davis, Walter Kirschbaum, Roger Paris, Ulrich Martins, Linda Wittkopf, and Kenton Grua.

Learn more about each of these individuals on our blog.
