Friends of the John Wesley Powell River History Museum
Board Members
The Board of Trustees voted to adopt the DBA name of Friends of the John Wesley Powell River History Museum and a new mission statement in 2025. The board’s mission supports the John Wesley Powell River History Museum by advocating for education, art, exploration, and storytelling, and by working to conserve and protect our community, our rivers, and our shared heritage, culture, and kinship.
The museum is governed through a partnership between the Friends of the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and the City of Green River.
