Join the Crew!

Empower. Preserve. inspire.

Major John Wesley Powell explored the Colorado twice, in 1869 and in 1871. His First Crew of Civil War veterans and seasoned frontiersmen was completely different from his Second Crew of scientists and surveyors. Yet all worked together to make their way down the river and add to the body of knowledge about the Colorado Plateau.

Now the museum needs a Third Crew to carry on Major Powell’s legacy. When you join the museum at any level of membership, you help support ongoing programming and exhibits, as well as empower the museum to grow in our mission to preserve the rich history of the Green and Colorado Rivers and Colorado Plateau. Join the Third Crew and help us carry on Powell’s legacy!
